本資料はSpotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7におけるライセンス管理機能の変更点について情報を整理いたします。
Analyst に対して記載した内容はWeb PlayerやAutomation Servicesにも適用されます。Analyst、WebPlayer、Automation Services の３つの製品はまとめて「Spotfire Clients」と呼びます。
Spotfire製品では「ライセンス」を利用してユーザーより製品機能の利用可否を制御します。ライセンスが付与されている場合は対象機能が利用できるようになりますが、付与されていない場合は対象機能が利用できません。
また、ライセンスはグループに対して付与します。付与されているライセンスはグループに所属しているすべてのメンバーユーザーに適用されます。
変更点概要
Spotfire Server 14.0.8 （リリースノート）/ Analyst 14.0.7（リリースノート）ではライセンス管理周りで以下の仕様変更が導入されています。
- 新ライセンス体系が導入された（※旧ライセンス体系に戻すことも可能）
- Analystの管理マネージャーでライセンス管理を実施できなくなり、Web管理画面「Groups」にて実施するように変更
- ライセンス項目が整理され、一部新しい大項目（ライセンス）や小項目（フィーチャー）が追加、削除、移動された
- Spotfire Server と Spotfire Clients（Analyst / Web Player / Automation Services）製品間のバージョン依存関係が変わった
新ライセンス体系の導入
Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7にて新ライセンス体系が導入されています。

Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7へバージョンアップした際には旧ライセンス体系が有効のままになりますが、Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7環境を新規構築した場合には新ライセンス体系がデフォルトで有効化されます。この場合は設定変更を実施して旧ライセンス体系へ戻すこともできます（詳細は後述参照）。
バージョン依存関係
Spotfire Server と Spotfire Clients（Analyst / Web Player / Automation Services）製品間でバージョン依存関係が存在します。例えば Spotfire Server 14.0.0～14.0.7 で利用できる Spotfire Clients（Analyst / Web Player / Automation Services）は 14.0.0～14.0.6（Clients Hotfix HF-026まで）となります。依存関係が守られていない場合、製品機能が正しく動作しない可能性があります。

さらに、Spotfire Clients（Analyst / Web Player / Automation Services）にClients Hotfix HF-027以降（Clients Hotfix 一覧）を適用するとバージョンが14.0.7にアップグレードされますので、Spotfire Server 14.0.0～14.0.7の場合は Clients Hotfix HF-026 までしか適用できません。
例えば、Analyst 14.0.6からSpotfire Server 14.0.8へログインし、ツール⇒管理マネジャーを開こうとする際には以下のエラーが発生してしまい、正しく開けません。
エラー メッセージ:Message part {http://spotfire.tibco.com/ws/2008/11/licenses.xsd}getAllAssemblyQualifiedNames was not recognized. (Does it exist in service WSDL?)
製品名やインストーラーファイル名の変更
一部 Spotfire 製品の名前が以下のように変更されました。

※１、Spotfire 14.0では「single user版」と「single user(no-serverモード対応)版」のインストーラーの中身が全く同じです。
Web管理画面によるライセンス管理
Spotfire Server 14.0.7 / Analyst 14.0.6までにはAnalystの「管理マネージャー」にてライセンス管理を実施しておりましたが、Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7以降はその機能が完全に廃止され、Web管理画面「Groups」にて実施するように仕様変更されています。
管理マネージャーによるライセンス管理機能が削除されました。
Web管理画面「Groups」にて、対象グループ（本例グループ名：「Analytics」）を選択して、ライセンスを付与します。選択されたライセンスによって利用できるフィーチャーが制限されています。
新ライセンス体系を利用する場合は以下の３つのライセンスを選択できます。
- Spotfire® Analytics
- Spotfire® Analysis Consumer
- Spotfire® Analysis Viewer
旧ライセンス体系を利用する場合は以下の３つのライセンスを選択できます。
- Spotfire® Analyst
- Spotfire® Business Author
- Spotfire® Consumer
ライセンス一覧表
新・旧ライセンス体系のそれぞれにて、契約されているライセンスに応じて付与できるライセンスは下表のとおりです。旧ライセンス体系においても一部ライセンスの利用可否が変更されており、Spotfire Server 14.0.7 / Analyst 14.0.6までの仕様（参考資料）は表内で「※以前」として記載します。

旧バージョンからアップグレードした場合、またはWeb管理画面「Groups」以外（例えばコマンドライン）よりライセンスの付与を実施した場合、付与されているライセンスによってWeb管理画面「Groups」ではライセンス表記が下記のように判定されます。

バージョンアップ時の注意事項
Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7へバージョンアップする際には下記のパターン①で実施してください。万が一パターン②の順番で実施されてしまった場合は製品が従来通りに利用できなくなる可能性がありますので、後述の手順に従って手動でライセンスを移行してください。

パターン１
パターン１では「①Spotfire Server 14.0.8へバージョンアップ」⇒「②Analyst 14.0.7をデプロイ」の順番で実施されるため、「upgradetool.bat」実行時にライセンスが自動的に移行されます。ライセンス移行後には旧ライセンス体系が有効のままとなります。この場合は従来のユーザーが通常通りにAnalystまたはWeb Playerなどを利用できます。
パターン２
先に「①Analyst 14.0.7をデプロイ」を実施した場合、「②Spotfire Server 14.0.8へバージョンアップ」にて「upgradetool.bat」実行時にはライセンスが移行されません。この場合はライセンス不足により従来のユーザーがSpotfireの製品機能を利用できない可能性があります。
例えば、Analystでは管理者（「Administrator」グループに所属）以外のユーザーがDXPファイルを開こうとすると以下のエラーが発生していしまい、正しく処理できません。エラーは、Analystユーザーに必要なライセンスが付与されていないことに起因しています。
ファイル '<ファイルのパス>' を開けません。ファイルが破損しているか、不明な形式である可能性があります。
また、Web Playerサービスを追加した後、インスタンスの起動が失敗します。
Web Playerのログ（Spotfire.Dxp.Worker.Host.<GUID>.log）に「ユーザーがプログラムにアクセスするために必要なライセンスが見つかりません。」（The required license for the user to access the program is missing.）のエラーが出力されます。

上記の問題を対処するための手順は以下になります。実施後にAnalystやWeb Playerを含め従来のユーザーが通常通りにすべての製品機能を利用できるようになります。
１．下記のコマンドを実行して、ライセンス「Spotfire.Dxp.View」が付与されているグループの一覧を取得します。
config.bat show-licenses --licenses="Spotfire.Dxp.View"
取得した結果がファイルとして出力されます。
例：C:\spotfire\spotfireserver\14.0.8\tomcat\logs\licenses_report_2025-06-26.log
ファイルをAnalystへ取り込んで内容を確認し、「From Group」列に記載されているグループが対象になります。
２．下記のコマンドを実行して、上記で取得したグループからライセンス「Spotfire.Dxp.View」を外します。
複数グループが存在する場合はコマンドを繰り返してすべてグループから外してください。
config.bat remove-license -l="Spotfire.Dxp.View" -g="<グループ名>"
３．下記のコマンドを実行して、ライセンスの移行を実施します。
引数「--from-license-version=v1 --to-license-version=v2」はそのまま指定してください（それ以外の値はサポートされません）。
移行後にSpotfire Serverサービスの再起動は不要です。
また、このコマンドは新ライセンス体系に切り替わるわけではありません。ライセンス体系は現行のままになります。
config.bat update-licenses --from-license-version=v1 --to-license-version=v2
バージョンアップ後に廃止ライセンスの削除
パターン１とパターン２のいずれもバージョンアップ後には廃止されたライセンスの削除を推奨します。削除しない場合、Web管理画面「Groups」でライセンスを管理する際に同じ名前のフィーチャーが複数個表示されてしまいます。
Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7 環境を新規構築した場合には廃止されたライセンスが存在しないため削除は不要です。
廃止されたライセンスを削除するには以下のコマンドを実行してください。
config.bat delete-obsolete-licenses
例：
新・旧ライセンス体系の切り替え
以下の手順で新・旧ライセンス体系の切り替えを行えます。
※Spotfire Server 14.0.8 端末内で、OS管理者権限のあるアカウントで実施してください。
１．OS管理者権限でコマンドプロンプトを起動して、Spotfire Serverのインストール先フォルダへ移動します。
C:\spotfire\spotfireserver\14.0.8\tomcat\spotfire-bin
２．以下のコマンド（export-config）を実行して現行設定をファイル（configuration.xml）へエクスポートします。
config.bat export-config -f
・引数「-f」は既存ファイルを上書きすることを示します。
※コマンド実行時にConfiguration Toolのパスワードの入力が求められます。
３．以下のコマンド（set-config-prop）を実行して設定項目を変更してください。
新ライセンス体系へ切り替えるコマンド：
config.bat set-config-prop -n licenses.version -v 2
旧ライセンス体系へ切り替えるコマンド：
config.bat set-config-prop -n licenses.version -v 1
４．設定変更後に以下のコマンド（import-config）を実行して変更後ファイルをインポートします。
config.bat import-config -c "設定変更内容がわかるようにコメントを記入してください"
・引数「-c」にはコメントを記入します。
※コマンド実行時にConfiguration Toolのパスワードの入力が求められます。
５．Spotfire Server 14.0.8 サービスを再起動して設定変更を反映させてください。
Spotfire Serverサービスが再起動されるまでには新しい設定が反映されません。業務時間外などに一度サービスの再起動を実施してください。
その他注意事項
Spotfire Server 14.0.8 / Analyst 14.0.7における一部注意事項について以下のように整理します。

新規インストールした環境で、クライアントパッケージがデプロイされていない場合にはライセンス管理を行えません。

旧バージョンからアップグレードした場合、または新規構築した場合のいずれにも、ビルトイングループ「Administrator」にはすべてのライセンスがデフォルトで付与されています。
注意事項３
旧バージョンからアップグレードした場合、「Business Author」ライセンスが付与されたグループが「Spotfire® Analyst」とみなされる可能性があります。「Spotfire® Business Author」を選択してライセンスを改めて付与することを推奨します。
注意事項４
旧バージョンからアップグレードした場合、または新規構築した場合のいずれにも、ビルトイングループ「Scheduled Updates Users」にライセンス「View (Spotfire.Dxp.View)」がデフォルトで付与されています。このライセンスはWeb Playerの動作上に必要なものであり、付与されていない場合はWeb Playerサービスが正しく起動できません。
ビルトイングループ「Scheduled Updates Users」にはビルトインユーザー「scheduledupdates@SPOTFIRESYSTEM」が所属しており、Web PlayerのScheduled Updates機能動作時のサービスアカウントとして使われます。
補足：ライセンスやフィーチャーの一覧
Spotfire Analyst 14.0.7にて、ライセンスやフィーチャーが一部変更されました。
Spotfire Analyst 14.0.6 / 14.0.7のそれぞれに利用できるライセンス（緑色の行）やフィーチャーの一覧は下表の通りです。括弧内（例：Spotfire.Dxp.Metrics）は該当ライセンス（例：Spotfire Advanced Analytics）の内部管理名となります。
